What is Uniroid HC Ointment?

Uniroid HC Ointment is a combination treatment used to relieve pain, itching, and inflammation in the anal area caused by haemorrhoids (piles) and related conditions. It contains:

• Hydrocortisone – a corticosteroid that reduces inflammation and swelling

• Cinchocaine hydrochloride – a local anaesthetic that provides rapid pain and itch relief

Used for:

• Internal and external haemorrhoids

• Anal fissures (small tears in the anal lining)

• Post-surgical or post-partum anal discomfort

How It Works:
Hydrocortisone helps reduce swelling and inflammation, while cinchocaine numbs the area to provide fast, targeted relief from discomfort.

Directions for Use:

• Apply a small amount to the affected area up to three times daily, preferably after a bowel movement.

• For internal use, apply with the supplied applicator.
