What  is Nystatin Oral Suspension?

Nystatin is a antifungal liquid medicine used to treat yeast infections in the mouth and throat (oral thrush). It is suitable for adults and children, including infants.

Commonly used to treat:

  • Prevention of oral yeast infections in at-risk patients

How It Works:
Nystatin binds to the fungal cell membrane, forming holes that cause the fungus to die, helping restore oral health.

Directions for Use:

  • Shake the bottle well before use

  • Measure the dose with the provided dropper or syringe

  • Swish the liquid around the mouth for at least 30 seconds before swallowing

  • Usually taken 4 times daily

  • Avoid eating or drinking for at least 30 minutes after use

  • Complete the full course, even if symptoms improve early
