What is Saxenda?
Saxenda is a prescription medication used to help adults who are overweight or obese, or who have weight-related health conditions, to lose weight and maintain weight loss. It is most effective when combined with a reduced-calorie diet and increased physical activity.

How It Works:
Saxenda mimics a natural hormone in your body that helps regulate appetite and food intake, leading to reduced hunger and increased feelings of fullness.

Directions for Use:

• Inject once a day, at the same time each day, with or without food

• Use a different injection site each day (abdomen, thigh, or upper arm)

• Rotate injection sites to reduce irritation

• Follow your healthcare provider’s instructions for the starting dose and gradual dose increase
