What is Rybelsus?
Rybelsus are oral semaglutide tablets used to help control blood sugar in adults with type 2 diabetes. They can be taken orally and are an alternative for patients who prefer not to use injectable GLP-1 medications.

How It Works:
Rybelsus works by mimicking the GLP-1 hormone, which stimulates insulin release, reduces glucose production by the liver, slows gastric emptying, and helps lower appetite.
Directions for Use:

Usually taken once daily on an empty stomach, at least 30 minutes before the first food, drink, or other oral medications of the day.

Start with 3 mg once daily for 30 days, then increase to 7 mg once daily.

If additional blood sugar control is needed, the dose may be increased to 14 mg once daily after at least 30 days on 7 mg.
