What is Epipen?
EpiPen contains adrenaline (epinephrine), a life-saving medicine used for the emergency treatment of severe allergic reactions (anaphylaxis) caused by allergens such as food, insect stings, medicines, or other triggers.
How It Works:
EpiPen delivers a single, pre-measured dose of adrenaline directly into the muscle. This quickly reverses the symptoms of anaphylaxis, such as swelling, difficulty breathing, and a sudden drop in blood pressure.
Directions for Use:
Use immediately at the first signs of a severe allergic reaction.
Remove the blue safety cap, press the orange tip firmly into the outer thigh, and hold for 3 seconds.
Can be injected through clothing if necessary.
Seek emergency medical attention immediately after use, even if symptoms improve.
Always carry your EpiPen with you if prescribed.
